The Sacred Items

Gomaya havan cake (kande)

Gomaya Havan Cakes are traditionally used as a natural base fuel for havan, yajna, and sacred fire rituals. Made from sun-dried desi cow dung, these small cakes burn steadily and produce a natural earthy aroma that supports traditional Vedic practices.

When lit, the cakes provide a stable base for the sacred fire and help release the fragrance of havan samagri, herbs, and resins added during the ritual. Gomaya has long been valued in Vedic traditions for its purifying properties, making it an essential component in many spiritual ceremonies and temple rituals.
